About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Value culture, creativity and integrity above celebrity
  • Boast an impressive portfolio demonstrating your diverse work in graphic design and visual communications including print, digital and video/photography
  • Possess a deep appreciation and love of all things media, marketing, advertising and PR
  • Be able to interpret creative briefs quickly and conceptualise solutions that balance creative and commercial constraints
  • Have advanced skills across the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Know how to work with web developers and be confident managing projects across print, web and social media

About You

You are a talented junior or emerging account coordinator wanting to join a small, tight-knit, hard-working marketing agency. You may currently be working in marketing or advertising, or have graduated with a marketing or communications degree but haven't cracked the role you want in the industry... yet.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a marketing, advertising, PR or related role

The successful applicant will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and will be the 'go-to' person for our busy and talented Account Manager. Responsibilities include:

  • Business development including appointment setting
  • Client liaison and project management
  • Preparation of proposals and reports
  • Market research including industry and competitive analysis
  • Social media management
  • Contribution to creative development including advertising, brand and digital strategy
  • Office administration including database management, diary management and travel arrangements
  • Working with interns and supporting other team members
  • Implementing and supporting marketing plans, campaigns and promotional initiatives
  • Managing relevant suppliers including printers, web developers, etc.
  • Any other responsibilities as they occur

Internship: Marketing, PR and Communications

May - August 2015 Intake

  • Studying communications and lover of all things strategy, media, marketing and PR?
  • Wondering what you’re in for once you’re released from the realm of Uni into the unknown ‘real world’?

Our small but growing consulting agency is offering candidates the opportunity to complete an internship in the fast-paced media, marketing, PR and communications industry. Our portfolio of companies offers services ranging from strategic marketing and consulting to digital and social media, PR and advertising.

The internship program is designed to provide you with real world, first-hand experience in all aspects of media and communications, with particular focus on marketing, PR and strategy. We are seeking students currently enrolled in Marketing, Advertising, PR or Communications focused tertiary education courses.

We are now taking applications for our Winter 2015 program - commencing 3 May and concluding 21 August, unless otherwise negotiated.

Successful applicants will be involved in the day-to-day administration of the agency as well as gaining first-hand experience in:

  1. Social media strategy and implementation across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube
  2. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
  3. Copywriting - including copy of press releases, blogs, websites, social media and direct mail
  4. Website design and development
  5. Client relationship and account management
  6. Business development
  7. Market research

Our interns will gain experience working on the accounts of medium-large clients in B2B, B2C, Not-For-Profit and member services organisations.

We are offering a two-day a week internship based in our Sydney CBD office. Interns will receive a comprehensive induction on commencement and written assessment and record of experience on completion.

Interns will be required to sign a Program Agreement and a Non Disclosure Agreement to participate in the Program.



In order to be eligible for an internship candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in tertiary course, or
  • A recent graduate within 24 month of course completion
  • Aged 17+
  • Educational background and current/previous course of study must be directly related to the internship offered
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in the Internship Program
  • Be punctual, reliable, professional and comply with the organisation’s professional standards

Our 16-week Internship period commences 3 May 2015 and concludes 21 August 2015.
